Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle yet profound ‘hands on’ healing therapy that supports the body’s natural tendency to find health and optimum balance.
How you can benefit
The work raises the natural vitality of the body’s system and can help resolve psycho-emotions held in body patterns, nervous system dysfunctions as well as muscular/skeletal difficulties and birth trauma.
Stresses, strains or tension tend to lodge in the body and can restrict the body’s functioning giving rise to problems over the years. These effects can be physical (ie. backpain, migraine or digestive disorders) and/or emotional (ie. anxiety or depression). This extremely gentle therapy uses no manipulation. The therapist listens, via the hands, to what is going on in your body and facilitates the body’s vital force to manifest and bring about intrinsic change and re-organisation. In this way the therapist identifies and treats pain or tensions held in the body.
Craniosacral therapy is so gentle that it is safe and suitable for people of all ages, from babies to the elderly, and also in fragile or acutely painful conditions. It is client led. Your body will set the pace of the work, so you will remain comfortable, in control and able to integrate the changes that occur.

How does Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy work?

Restrictions in the body’s functioning show up in the way that primary respiration is expressed. In treatment the therapist identifies any areas of stress or strain and encourages a restoration of subtle motion. As well as releasing the body’s tensions, this frees up the energy which the body was previously using to hold itself in contraction. So one of the benefits of the treatment is an increase in vitality, in the level of energy available, which can have far reaching consequences for increased physical, emotional and spiritual health in everyday life.
